NEET 2013 Result

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the NEET Examination, evaluate the Answer Sheets and declare the result by 2nd week of June, 2013 and the same will be shown on website. The CBSE will prepare the merit list/ wait list as per the directives of the  Hon'bal Supreme Court of India, DGEIS, MCI and DCI.

There will be no separate result list of SC/ST candidates. As soon as the result is ready, CBSE will display the results on the website and thereafter candidates placed in merit/wait list may download the Rank letters.

 

 

ALL CANDIDATES APPEARING IN NEET EXAMINATION MUST REMAIN IN TOUCH WITH THE WEBSITES OF CBSE, MOHFW, OFFICES OF THE DIRECTORATE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION OF THE STATES/UTS, MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS  AND UNIVERSITIES CONCERNED TILL CONCLUSION OF FINAL ROUND OF COUNSELLING

The Central Board of Secondary Education is pleased to declare the result of the first National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-UG, 2013. Among the registered candidates, a total of 717127 candidates were eligible to appear in the NEET-UG, 2013, out of which 658040 candidates appeared in the test and 366317 candidates have qualified the test. The test was conducted at 1251 examination centres located in 85 cities all over India and abroad. Details of the candidates qualified the test on the basis of the minimum qualifying criteria of NEET-UG, 2013 are as follows:-

The candidates can access their result on www.cbseneet.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in. The result of candidates appeared in the NEET-UG indicates marks obtained in each subject, percentile score, NEET All India Rank, Rank for All India Quota Seats, AFMC and State Quota seats. The cut off score for qualifying in NEET-UG is also provided in the Result Sheet.

The Result of NEET-UG, 2013 has been declared on the basis of the qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The qualified candidates have to further complete the formalities with the respective Counselling Authorities, such as, DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

The details and schedule of counselling would be available on the websites of MOHFW, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities concerned. The counselling would be conducted by the respective Counselling Authorities through personal appearance/online counselling subject to rules and norms for admission in Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges under their ambit. Candidates are advised to be in touch with the respective Counselling Authorities and Institutions concerned for further details.

Rules for re-checking/re-evaluation of answer sheets

The machine – gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinised. There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets.

Note: No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Legal jurisdiction

All disputes pertaining to the conduct of examination and allotment of seats shall fall within the jurisdiction of Delhi only. The Secretary of the Board shall be the legal person in whose name the Board may sue or may be sued.
